We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home. We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. You can use the Sample button to see some examples to help you enter your own equations. We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. And some equations can be balanced by adding electrons to the left of the right side. And some equations have multiple independent solutions, means they are a combination of more than one equation. The left side and the right side of the equation must be separated with the = symbol. Electrons in the equations is represented with the e letter. You can set the charge of the term with the ^ symbol, the value of the charge and the sign, e.g. You can specify the count of the elements, groups, and terms with using a number after them, e.g., Fe2, (OH)3. Use parenthesis to group your elements, e.g., (OH). For example, Fe is a valid input, but fe is not. Element names must start with an uppercase character and continue with a lowercase character. A term can be consist of elements, groups, or a single electron. Basic info for the elements such as discovery year, and whom it's discovered by.Īnd lots of other info like CAS number and radioactivity.Įnter your terms separated by the + symbol. Physical properties such as boiling and melting points, heat of vaporization. Atomic properties such as electronegativity and oxidation states. Get detailed info about all of the 118 elements. It supports elements with charges.Īlso includes the full list of periodic table elements. Just enter the equation and get the coefficients for it. Balance your chemical equations with the Chemical Balancer.
